Raleigh, N.C. and St. Petersburg, Fla. – February 22, 2019 – January 24th marked the opening of Skyway Surgery Center in St. Petersburg, Fla. The new state-of-the-art, 10,000 square foot outpatient facility was developed in partnership with a group of independent neurosurgeons, orthopedic surgeons, pain management specialists and Compass Surgical Partners. Skyway Surgery Center is located at 625 6th Avenue South in St. Petersburg, in close proximity to downtown and Bayfront Medical Center.
Skyway Surgery Center has two operating rooms and one additional procedure room. The center supports complex surgical procedures traditionally performed in a hospital setting. In particular, the facility will offer minimally invasive procedures by some of the area’s leading clinicians. The Skyway partners are focused on ensuring that patients get the most out of their surgical experience, including convenience, reasonable cost, comfort, safety, and great clinical outcomes.
