Chris brings more than 25 years of leadership experience in multi-site healthcare services to his COO work at Compass. An operator at heart, he has built his career on strengthening clinical, operational, and financial performance across ambulatory surgery centers and health system joint ventures.

Before joining Compass, Chris held executive leadership roles in ASC, dental, and behavioral health organizations, giving him a unique perspective on patient-centered care across specialties. As a Senior Operations Leader at USPI, he led multi-site ASC and surgical hospital operations across various states. Over his career, Chris has executed numerous acquisitions and de novo developments that generated significant value for partners.

Known for his transparent, people-first leadership style, Chris is passionate about developing strong management teams, creating cultures of accountability, and ensuring that clinicians have the support they need to deliver high-quality patient care. His approach reflects a simple belief: when you take care of physicians and patients, everything else takes care of itself.

Chris earned both his BBA and MS from the University of North Texas. He and his wife, Deanna, live in the Dallas-Fort Worth area, where they enjoy spending time outdoors, and keeping up with their two adult sons—and their rescue cat, Marcus.
