Stacy LaLonde serves as the Vice President of Payer Strategy for Compass Surgical Partners. Her primary role is to negotiate commercial payer contract rates in Compass’ key markets across the country, but she also serves as a resident expert on governmental reimbursement changes that could impact revenue. Stacy knows that commercial payer negotiation is the key to allowing the ASC to prosper and be sustainable long term. Additionally, she works to manage the external factors—such as competition and alternative reimbursement strategies —that will position the partnership for success.
Stacy has 30 years of health care experience and has held roles previously with Surgical Care Affiliates, Atlas Healthcare, and Surgical Care Professionals. She strives to bring additional revenue opportunities to her partnerships. Most notably, in one previous position, she was able to negotiate payer contracts that represented approximately $5 million in revenue through a targeted sales and marketing plan.
Stacy is ASCP certified as a medical technologist and holds a Bachelor of Clinical Laboratory in Science from Michigan Tech University. She has one son, who recently graduated from The University of Colorado Boulder (The Leeds Schools of Business in Business Analytics). He is currently working for Optum as a Claims Analyst of the Behavioral Team.
Stacy is a die-hard Green Bay Packers fan, as Wisconsin is her home state. She currently lives in Colorado where she can pursue her love for the outdoors and walk her Alaskan Malamute, Juneau.
